How Covid 19 Affects our Studio

Our studio shut down when the stay at home order began. We quarantined ourselves for 2 months and during this time, cleaned our studio and continued to perfect my craft, with even more hours of online education and Photoshop instruction. I took this time to catch up on all the new baby trends and new tools and AI in Photoshop.

Our studio has resumed social distanced newborn sessions, currently limiting to 1 newborn session every other day. As things return to normal, we will be able to handle more bookings. It had been illegal to touch babies until earlier this week Oct 20, Now with PPE I CAN touch a newborn as per the Government of Saskatchewan. They ask we still stay social distanced AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE to coach mom or daD to position baby in props and arms etc, but when Necessary for safety measures we can handle them with PPE.

Our studio has always practiced cleanliness and safety and that has not changed. We always wash newborn outfits or garments - basically anything that touches the skin of a baby during a newborn session, is always cleaned before we use it again. This continues to happen as well as sanitizing our hands, arms and wearing fresh washed clothing in every session.
We now also wear masks, during our session as currently required by the government guidelines. Turn up the heat before and after our clients are here to over 30 to help kill viruses or droplets such as Covid. We use real 70%+ Isopropyl Alcohol for sanitizing

Amanda is being monitored 24/7 by The University of California San Francisco School of Medicine. I have elected to participate in the schools Covid-19 study. They monitor my vitals through a Oura Ring device. The ring measures and logs data ranging from sleep and body temperature to heart rate and respiratory function. Researchers said the device has been successful in recognizing Covid-19 symptoms up to three days in advance with 90% accuracy. I also am taking temps throughout the day to make sure I can catch any illness asap during this time. I want to keep mine and your family as safe as possible. The Study Information

As always we ask that if our clients are sick, to please reschedule. We do not allow our assistant/s to work if ill at any time. At this time, none of our staff has been affected by Covid-19. Amanda has her current immunizations, and always makes sure her health is number one before ever entering the studio. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to ask.

You will have to pass a non contact temperature test to be admitted into the studio, no exceptions!
